PTAG to Participate in CII Webinar on 2026 CBA Priorities

PTAG is pleased to announce that Patrick Dubreuil will be presenting in an upcoming Construction Industry Institute (CII) webinar exploring how Communities for Business Advancement (CBAs) are shaping priorities for 2026.

Scheduled for Thursday, February 12 at 11:00 am CST, this session will bring together CBA leaders to share insights into their strategic focus areas, preview upcoming meeting topics, and outline planned activities for the first quarter of the year.

Attendees will gain a clearer understanding of how specific CBAs align with their organization’s most pressing challenges, including:

  • Adoption and advancement of Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) best practices
  • Progressing supply chain digitization and performance
  • Translating industry collaboration into practical, implementable outcomes

CII members consistently cite CBA participation as a high-value forum for accessing timely insights, benchmarking against peers, and bringing proven practices back to their internal teams. The collaborative nature of CBAs allows participants to both contribute expertise and learn from others facing similar challenges across capital-intensive industries.

PTAG’s continued involvement in CII reflects our commitment to advancing industry performance through structured collaboration, data-driven insights, and applied best practices across project management, project controls, construction management, and supply chain disciplines.

Projects across every industry are shifting towards digital data collection to provide real-time information. The global pandemic has increased this need and pushed for rapid adoption.

Careful data analysis is crucial for projects to truly understand performance. But the analysis is only as good as the data that is in the system. If a project is dealing with a two-day delay before paper reports are entered into a system, they are not making informed decisions. When a project manager leverages technology to capture data at the workface, they have the ability to address problems before they arise. This insight is increasingly valuable when coupled with analytical benchmarking, which allows projects to compare themselves with their peers and competitors.

Bob discusses how leveraging technology and best practices lead to faster decision making and project performance improvement. Addressing data collection at the workface, using systems to provide meaningful insights, dealing with multiple shifts data, mitigating COVID-19 impacts, and reducing rework.
