Remembering Gwen Altpeter

The Hospital Activity Book for children first began in 1995 and is designed for children keeping their well-being in mind. The activities in the book target children between the ages of 2 – 12 years old with a wide range of activities for a variety of ages such as dot-to-dot and colouring pages, advanced puzzles, etc. PTAG has been a proud supporter and sponsor of The Hospital Activity Book for children for the past 10 years. For this year’s edition of The Hospital Activity Book, PTAG designed a construction scene for the kids to colour.

PTAG team delivers a number of great assists volunteering alongside fellow nuclear supply chain colleagues at the Peel “Hockey Hub” Mass Vaccination Site.

Bruce Power and a coalition of organizations, unions and businesses came together to establish the hub in collaboration with the Region of Peel to provide the region greater capacity to deliver more vaccines in the race against the COVID-19 variants. Bruce Power also supported the establishment of three Hockey Hubs operated by the Grey Bruce Health Unit.

The region of Peel is a COVID-19 hotspot and home to several of our PTAG staff. Being committed to serving the communities in which we work, PTAG staff stepped up to volunteer at the Peel site, offloading logistics tasks from the stretched Health Care workers.

PTAG collaborates with Bruce Power, the Ontario Vaccination Support Council, and fellow nuclear supply chain colleagues to help enable the vaccine roll-out at Ontario’s Peel Vaccination Hub.

PTAG is committed to serve its community in whichever way it is possible. As a part of PTAG’s participation with the Ontario Vaccination Support Council and along with our fellow nuclear supply chain colleagues the ‘Peel Vaccination Hub’ an NHL-rink sized center is launching on May 26th, 2021, for one month. We are privileged to have been involved in this opportunity to volunteer in a time of need.

Our Managing Partner, Michael Dubreuil along with several other PTAG team members will be volunteering at the Vaccination Hub. PTAG, joined by their industry peers, will support and help our Peel region public health front-line workers who continue to tirelessly serve the community. Our team members will be volunteering on several occasions to provide additional arms by helping with the service coordination, assistance, and housekeeping work.

We want our community to stay safe and understand the urgency in tackling this crisis. Working together we can fight the pandemic faster.
