PTAG at OCNI Nuclear Industry Day

PTAG will be at OCNI Nuclear Industry Day, taking place September 15 to 16 at Bruce Power in Tiverton, Ontario. As the Trade Show Bag Sponsor, we are pleased to support an event that brings together utilities, suppliers, and project delivery professionals from across Canada’s nuclear sector.

Andrew Grant, Chris Deidun, Lorena Perry, and Shafaq Riaz will be on site for both days at Booth 20.

The event begins with the trade show in B10, followed by a reception at the Nuclear Innovation Institute Advanced Facility. Day two will focus on utility-led discussions around supply chain priorities and structured B2B meetings with Bruce Power and Ontario Power Generation procurement teams.

For PTAG, the conversations are closely aligned with the work we support across nuclear refurbishment and new build programs. Large nuclear projects require disciplined project controls, clear contractor interfaces, reliable scheduling, and strong coordination across engineering, procurement, construction, and operations.

Our team will be there to discuss practical project delivery challenges, especially where schedule complexity, contractor coordination, and execution risk are creating pressure on major scopes.

PTAG Supports the 2026 Bruce Power Project Management Division Golf Tournament

PTAG is proud to support the 2026 Bruce Power Project Management Division Golf Tournament, held on August 19 at Blackhorse Golf and Country in Kincardine, Ontario.

Representing PTAG on the course were Kevin Murphy, Andrew Grant, and Chris Deidun, joining industry colleagues for a day that brought together community, collaboration, and a meaningful cause.

PTAG was pleased to sponsor the annual tournament in support of Habitat for Humanity Grey Bruce, with 100% of proceeds helping advance affordable housing initiatives across Grey and Bruce counties.

Bruce Power has supported Habitat Grey Bruce since 2002, and PTAG is glad to continue standing alongside organizations that are making a tangible difference in the communities where we live and work.

We are proud to have been part of another successful event and to support a cause that helps build stronger communities across the region.

PTAG team delivers a number of great assists volunteering alongside fellow nuclear supply chain colleagues at the Peel “Hockey Hub” Mass Vaccination Site.

Bruce Power and a coalition of organizations, unions and businesses came together to establish the hub in collaboration with the Region of Peel to provide the region greater capacity to deliver more vaccines in the race against the COVID-19 variants. Bruce Power also supported the establishment of three Hockey Hubs operated by the Grey Bruce Health Unit.

The region of Peel is a COVID-19 hotspot and home to several of our PTAG staff. Being committed to serving the communities in which we work, PTAG staff stepped up to volunteer at the Peel site, offloading logistics tasks from the stretched Health Care workers.
