AWP University is part of PTAG, and four APDA scholarships that include it are open now
Every recipient receives full Level 3 certification through AWP University, complimentary access to the CII Global AWP+ Conference, and one-on-one mentorship from an industry leader matched to their category. Applications close Friday, October 16, 2026.
The Advanced Project Delivery Association is awarding scholarships in four categories under its Scholarship and Mentorship Program. Recipients are recognized at the conference in Houston on Thursday, November 19, where we are a headline sponsor.
Eligibility criteria, the program guide, and the application form are on APDA’s site. Completed applications go to submissions@theapda.com by Friday, October 16. APDA scores them, not us.
Find the category that matches where you are now
Each category is scored against criteria for that career stage, so an early-career applicant is judged on potential rather than on a track record they have not had the chance to build. Scoring is independent, then reviewed by committee.
New to the Industry (Emerging Talent)
Recent graduates and university students entering capital project delivery, construction, or related fields. Judged on aptitude and early initiative, not on results delivered.

Women new to the industry, building careers in construction and capital project delivery. Judged on initiative and commitment to a lasting career in the field.

The mentorship is the part applicants underestimate
Certification and conference access are easy to put a number on. The mentor is harder to describe and probably worth more. Each category has a named person attached to it, not a row of supporting logos.
Robin mentors the New to the Industry category. He led AWP University before it joined PTAG and built its curriculum, which has since taught more than 6,000 students. He has implemented AWP on more than 150 industrial projects ranging from $1.5 million to $63 billion in total installed cost. CII named him its Outstanding Volunteer in 2026.
